1. Who we are
In this document, “Crownbridge”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CrownBridge Search. You can contact us at support@crownbridgeglobalrecruitment.com.
Crownbridge Global Recruitment is a recruitment and talent solutions company. When we process candidate information to find and introduce you to suitable roles, and when we process information about our clients’ representatives, we act as a data controller.
2. Information we collect
Candidates
- Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, country and location.
- Career information: your CV, cover letter, employment history, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, desired roles and salary expectations.
- Links you provide, such as your LinkedIn profile or portfolio.
- Information about your applications, interviews, feedback and placements.
- Account information if you register, including your sign-in details (passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).
Clients and employers
- Names, job titles, business contact details and information about vacancies you ask us to recruit for.
Customers of career services
- Order details, the service purchased, payment references and correspondence. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.
Website visitors
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through strictly necessary cookies and, only with your consent, optional cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. How we use your information
- To assess your suitability for roles, contact you about opportunities and, with your agreement, introduce you to prospective employers.
- To process job applications and keep you informed about their progress.
- To provide career services you purchase, including CV writing and consultations.
- To respond to enquiries and provide recruitment services to clients.
- To operate, secure and improve our website, including preventing fraud and abuse.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, such as record-keeping and right-to-work checks where required.
4. Legal bases
Depending on the activity, we rely on: your consent (for example, when you submit your CV or apply for a role and agree to recruitment processing); performance of a contract (when you buy a career service or we provide services to a client); our legitimate interests in operating a recruitment business and keeping our website secure; and legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
5. Who we share information with
- Prospective employers and clients, only in connection with roles you have applied for or agreed to be put forward for.
- Service providers who host our website and database, send emails and process payments on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect your information.
- Professional advisers and authorities where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. International transfers
As an international recruitment company, we may share your information with employers and service providers in other countries. Where we transfer information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How we protect your information
CVs and candidate documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage. Only you, administrators and the recruiter assigned to you can access them, and download links expire after a short period. Access to our systems is restricted by role, and data is encrypted in transit.
8. How long we keep information
We keep candidate records for as long as they are useful for finding you suitable roles, and we review records that have been inactive for two years. Order and payment records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any legal obligation to retain it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or complete it;
- ask us to delete it or restrict how we use it;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive a copy of information you provided in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@crownbridgeglobalrecruitment.com. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
